I’m an El-Paso-born native Texan. Later Dad moved the family to San Antonio where I graduated from Sam Houston High. I have an undergraduate degree from Park College and a graduate degree from West Texas A&M, Canyon. My lifelong partner of 42 years is Terre and we have 3 amazing children and 5 grandchildren. She was the perfect coach’s wife, traveling thousands of miles to watch her kids compete in athletics as I spent numerous hours teaching and coaching. I entered education and taught high school Algebra and Geometry as well as Accounting and several other disciplines. I was also an assistant football coach and a head baseball coach for 18 years. We competed in the Texas High School Baseball playoff in 13 of my 18 years with one trip to the State Playoffs. My drive for perfection has spilled over into my insurance business.
