When creating a menu item, you will see a field called URL Type. The options for this field are Page and Other.
A Page is related to a page that you have created on Insurance Storefronts. When selecting this option, a dropdown field will appear where you can select the page you want the menu item to point to.
The next option, Other, can be any full URL to any page you want to link to. This doesn't have to be related to Insurance Storefronts.
We use the Font Awesome icons for our menu items. You can get a list of those icons here, https://fontawesome.com/search?m=free&o=r.
For example, let's say you want to use the user icon. You would click that icon copy the class of that icon and then paste it in the Font Icon Class field.

Absolutely. When creating a menu item, set the URL Type, to Other. Then on the URL for the Menu Item, enter #.
Then, click the Manage Submenu Items button (the light blue button). On this page, you will click the Create New Submenu Item button (the green upper right button) to add menu items for the dropdown menu.
