Insurance Storefronts ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect when you use insurancestorefronts.com (the "Platform"), how we use it, and the choices you have. We are not a lead service — we don't sell, resell, or broker your data.
01 Information we collect
We collect information in three ways:
Account information — name, email, password, phone number, and license details you provide at signup.
Profile & website content — your photo, bio, service areas, carriers, blog posts, and any media you upload.
Prospect data — names, contact info, and quote requests submitted by consumers through your Storefront, quote engines, or directory profile. This data belongs to you.
Usage data — browser type, IP address, pages visited, and similar diagnostic data collected automatically when you use the Platform.
Payment information — handled directly by our payment processor (Stripe). We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
02 How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
Provide, operate, and maintain the Platform and your agent tools.
Process subscription payments and send billing receipts.
Send service notifications, security alerts, and product updates.
Improve features, fix bugs, and prevent fraud or abuse.
Respond to support requests and inquiries.
We do not use prospect data submitted to your Storefront for our own marketing, and we do not contact your prospects directly.
03 How we share your information
We share information only in narrow, defined cases:
Service providers. Vetted vendors that help us run the Platform (hosting, email delivery, analytics, payment processing). They may access data only to perform their function.
Legal compliance. When required by law, subpoena, or to protect rights, safety, or property.
Business transfers. If we're involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your information may transfer as part of that transaction; we'll notify you in advance.
We do not sell, rent, broker, or resell your data — including your prospect contact information — to third parties.
04 Your ownership of profile & lead data
Your website, profile, content, and prospect data are 100% yours. You can export your data or close your account at any time. We don't lock you in.
05 Cookies & tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and measure how the Platform is used. You can disable cookies in your browser, but some features may not work as expected.
06 Data security
We use industry-standard safeguards — encryption in transit, hashed passwords, access controls, and routine backups — to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, but we work hard to keep yours safe.
07 Your rights & choices
You may:
Access or update your account information from your dashboard.
Request a copy of your data, including your prospect list.
Delete your account and associated data by contacting support.
Opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in any message we send.
08 Children's privacy
The Platform is intended for licensed insurance professionals and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
09 Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you by email or through a notice on the Platform. The "Effective" date above always reflects the current version.
