How do I get notified when a new lead comes in?
Every submission triggers an instant email to your account email and (if you've added a mobile number under Account → Personal Info) an SMS. The lead also lands in Lead Management so you can move it through your pipeline.
Email is on by default for every plan. SMS requires both a saved mobile number and a plan tier that includes SMS (Quote Engines or Platinum / Highly Dedicated).
Where is the email notification actually sent from?
Lead notification emails come from our transactional address and are addressed to the email on your account (the one you log in with). They include the prospect's name, the quote engine or widget they came from, and a direct link to the prospect inside Lead Management.
To change the recipient, update your account email under Account → Personal Info, or set up a custom per-widget distribution to forward a copy to another address.
Can I throttle how many notifications I get per hour?
Yes — on a per-widget basis. Each lead distribution rule lets you set a max leads per hour and / or leads per day. Once the cap is hit, additional leads still land in your pipeline but no notification fires for them until the next window opens.
This is useful when you're running paid traffic to a single quote engine and don't want your inbox or phone melting at peak hours.
How can I see whether a specific lead notification was sent?
Open the prospect, switch to the Other Info tab, and look at the Distribution table. Every send is logged with a timestamp and the email address or phone number it was delivered to.
If a lead is missing from that table, no notification went out — usually because no distribution rule matched, or the per-hour cap was hit.
