What is the Quote Results for a quote engine?
The Quote Results screen is what the consumer sees after they submit the Quote Request — a live list of rates pulled from the carriers you've enabled, sorted so they can compare and pick one.
This is where the engine earns its keep. A clear results screen with the right carriers and clean styling is what turns a quote request into a real app request.
How do I select a new design for the Quote Results?
On the engine's Quote Results tab, open Template gallery and click the thumbnail you want. The choice saves automatically and is reflected immediately in the live preview.
As with the Quote Request, all gallery designs work across Life, Medicare, and Final Expense engines. ACA Health and Dental engines use their own skinned results gallery.
What parts of the Quote Results can I customize?
Under Customize style you can adjust the colors, fonts, headline, and button styling of the results card. The same color and text controls you saw on Quote Request apply here.
You also get two results-specific tabs: No quotes message (what shows when nothing rates) and Company selection (which carriers are eligible to appear).
When customizing the Quote Results, can I see what it looks like?
Yes — every Customize style change is reflected in the live preview pane on the right. You see exactly how the results card will look to a consumer as you tweak colors and text.
Does customizing the Quote Results change the look of a published quote engine?
Yes. As soon as you click Save, the new design ships to your published engine — anyone loading it from then on sees the update. There's no separate publish step for design changes.
What is the No Quotes Message for and does it need to be changed?
If the rater can't return any quotes for what the consumer entered (rare, but it happens — odd ZIP/age combos, no enabled carriers for that state, etc.) the engine shows your No Quotes Message instead of an empty screen.
The default message is fine for most agents, but customizing it is a chance to turn a dead-end into a lead. A line like "We weren't able to pull rates online — call me at (555) 123-4567 and I'll quote you manually" recovers traffic you'd otherwise lose.
How does the Company Selection work under the Quote Results?
Company selection controls which carriers are allowed to appear on the results screen for this engine. Toggle a carrier on and its products will quote; toggle it off and it's hidden, even if the rater has rates for it.
Only enable carriers you're actually appointed with — there's no point sending a consumer a quote you can't write. The list is filtered by the engine's insurance type, so a Term engine shows life carriers, a Medicare engine shows Med Supp carriers, and so on.
