How do I add a new item to my main menu?

Open Website Builder → Menu, click Add Menu Item, and fill in the label (the text visitors see) and the destination. You can pick an existing page from the dropdown or paste an external URL.

Drag-and-drop the new item to whatever position you want in the menu order. Save, and the change is live on your published site.

Can I link to something other than one of my pages?

Yes. When you add a menu item, pick External URL as the type and paste the full link — e.g. https://yourcarrier.com/quote, a Calendly link, or a Facebook page. The menu item opens that URL when clicked.

If you want external links to open in a new tab, check the Open in new window option.

How do I make a dropdown / submenu?

Create the parent menu item first (e.g. Insurance). Then add the items you want underneath (Auto, Home, Life, Health) and drag them slightly to the right under the parent — the drag handle indents the row to mark it as a child.

Most themes render anything indented as a hover dropdown on desktop and an accordion on mobile.

Can I add an icon next to a menu label?

Yes. Each menu item has an optional Icon field that takes a Boxicons class — e.g. bx bx-home, bx bx-phone, bx bx-shield. Browse the full set at boxicons.com.

Whether the icon actually renders depends on your theme; most modern themes display it before the label, a few older themes ignore the field.

How do I reorder or remove menu items?

Drag a row up or down to reorder — the position saves as soon as you drop. To remove an item, click its trash icon; it disappears from the menu but the underlying page (if it linked to one) is untouched.

If you delete a menu item by mistake, just add it back — menu items are easy to recreate.

Why doesn't my new page show up in the menu automatically?

Pages and menu items are separate by design — creating a page doesn't add it to your nav, so you can build draft or landing pages that aren't linked from the menu.

To put a new page in your menu, go to Menu, click Add Menu Item, pick the page from the dropdown, and save.
