What is the Public Post Settings for?

When agents create a blog post, they can set its status to Request IS Publish. When this status is set and saved, it will notify the Insurance Storefronts support team that a new blog post is requesting to be published in the public blog. The public blog is the Insurance Storefront's blog that is public to the consumers to learn more about insurance.

The blog post created by an agent that is on the public blog has a section at the bottom of the blog post that tells a little about the author (the agent who created the blog post). This includes their name, a link to their desired location on their name, social media links, and a quick blog bio about the agent. This further promotes agents who write blog posts for the public blog.

When setting the Display Blog Bio to yes, where does it display?

The Blog Bio is displayed on the Insurance Storefront's public blog that is shown to consumers. When an agent creates a new blog post and it has been published, the consumer can see the Blog Bio at the bottom of the blog post to learn more about that agent.

Where can I update the social media links that my blog bio display?

When displaying social media icons on the blog bio, consumers can learn more about you when clicking them. The social media links used are from the Marketing Profile > Contact Info page.

Whatever social media urls defined is what will be used on the blog bio.

When using the Name Link Location, does it just link my name on the blog bio?

The Name Link Location is applied anywhere your name is listed on the Insurance Storefront's public blog.

This includes your name when your blog is shown on blog post listings, the written by at the top of the blog post, and finally, on the name of the blog bio.

How should my Blog Bio be written to best advertise my services as an insurance agent?

The blog bio should be written to highlight to the consumer what you can offer them for their needs.

This should include where you can service (location), what sort of policies you specialize in, and what makes you stand out from other agents servicing those needs.

Where does Gemini get information to create my Blog Bio?

When you ask Gemini to create your Blog Bio, Gemini will use your About You information from the Marketing Profile > About Your Business page.
