A native of Rochester, NY, JB began his career in the U.S. Air Force, where he dedicated 20 years of service. Throughout his military career, he held various positions within the financial sector, including roles in Financial Accounting, Budgeting, Financial Services, Bank Liaison Officer, Resource Advisor, Personal Finance Advisor, and ultimately as Base Comptroller.

After retiring from the U.S. Air Force, JB furthered his education by earning two Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degrees in Accounting and Finance, as well as in Business Management. His entrepreneurial ventures span across real estate investing, independent sales and marketing of consumer goods and services, and factoring car notes. In 2013, JB earned his Health and Life Insurance license and went on to complete his Certification in Financial Planning from Howard University School of Business in 2019, specializing in Financial Planning, Insurance Planning, Income Tax Planning, Estate Planning, Retirement Planning, and Investing.

For more than three decades, JB has served as a Personal Financial Benefits Advisor, driven by a deep passion for helping individuals and families achieve lasting financial security. Beyond his professional role, JB is dedicated to financial literacy, volunteering with his church’s Personal Finance Ministry since 2003, where he has provided financial education and guidance to the community. His expertise also extends to retirement preparedness, with a focus on safe money strategies designed to preserve principal and generate sustainable income for long-term financial health. JB also provides valuable assistance in healthcare planning, guiding individuals under 65 to secure the right healthcare coverage and helping those over 65 navigate Medicare options, particularly during open enrollment periods.

JB is married to Lucy, and together they have two sons, a daughter-in-law, and one granddaughter.

Highly recommend JB. Always there to help and if he doesn't have time right then he gets back with you In a timely manner.He has always helped me.
