Are there any restrictions on updating my password?

Your new password must be at least 8 characters long and you have to type it twice (in the New Password and Confirm New Password fields) so we know there are no typos.

There is no requirement to include a number, symbol, or mix of cases — but we strongly recommend you use a passphrase or a password manager. Your account controls billing, lead data, and your public marketing, so it's worth protecting properly.

You can change your password as often as you want. There's no cooldown and no history check.

Why do you ask for my current password?

Requiring your current password before letting you set a new one is a basic security check. It confirms that whoever is at the keyboard is actually you — not someone who walked up to an unlocked browser session, or a script that grabbed your cookie.

If you've genuinely forgotten your current password, don't try to guess it here. Log out and use the Forgot Password link on the login page instead. We'll email a reset link to your account email, and once you set the new password through that link, you can log right back in.
